Boa

Boa invites viewers to celebrate the human capacity for reflection and acceptance of transformation, reminding us that growth often emerges through change.

Boa depicts a reclining figure whose body appears to merge with organic, lava-like textures. The richly glazed ceramic surface evokes both the natural world and the marks of lived experience, while bold yellow jewellery accents create a vivid contrast against the deep bronze and earthy tones.

Resting in a pose of quiet confidence, the figure embodies strength rather than vulnerability. Her elongated form and expressive surface invite viewers to reflect on themes of identity, endurance and renewal—suggesting that what may first appear as scars can become sources of power and beauty.

Boa balances sculptural elegance with tactile complexity, encouraging close observation of its intricate textures and luminous glazes.
